Most markets in New York are seasonal, but no, not Artists & Fleas. If that’s not enough for you, then how about it when I tell you they sell unicornmirrors, bookclocks, your granny’s furry coat and the cutest triangle necklaces ever!
Artists & Fleas is a brilliant concept. The best vintagevendors and designer start-ups sell their goods at affordable prices. With two locations there’s always a conceptfleamarket in you reach. In Brooklyn you can live it up in Williamsburg (where else?), but also at the Chelsea Market, right beneath the High Line, Artists & Fleas has a homebase. This last one is my go-to. Enjoy a contemporary fleamarket, good food (Amy’s Bread for example) and industrial architecture all at the same time. I love me some packagedeals!
Are you down for discovering creative new designers? Or are you searching for the perfect one of a kind gift? Then you can’t miss out on a visit to Artists & Fleas! Curious yet? Inspector Gadget the shh out of them…
Tip of the day: Bring some cash if you’re planning on buying something, because not all of the designers have machines.
Note that Artists & Fleas Williamsburg only opens at weekends. Chelsea Market is open every day!
